Oops! I forgot that I did not account for the Spring Tournament that we played with Shayne. For those players who have been playing since January, we also played the spring fling in St George that was $30.00 per girl...so those players have spent 253.81 per girl...

We have collected $200.00 per player...New and old alike, for the most part...

We have not yet ordered uniforms so we did pay for the Fire Cracker with the money in the account, we have some time to collect for those uniforms...but it is time for another payment, dont you hate that!

We will be doing a fund raiser in Cedar on Saturday....funds will go to replenishing missing balls and other needed supplies, support pick up players when needed and hopefully get a team bat that all the girls can enjoy. Any other funds generated will be put toward team needs, and could lower some of the fees for upcoming tournaments...so lets wash a ton of cars...

It would be ideal if we could get a sponsor for the girls...please think about possible sponsors and we can arrange for a presentation to be made...alot of travel teams have sponsors and it makes the financial end alot easier...

The next tournaments are Big Slam July 31-Aug 2 in Spanish Fork. Summer Wind-up Aug 7-9 in Payson and West Valley Classic Aug 14-16. There are two in St George this fall and the two we played in Mesquite...the local ones run about 350.00 a team and the travel are 450.00 a team approx, we divide by team players participating...the cost varies slightly by roster...we can divide it by the number or girls on the roster if you would prefer...we can discuss it tomorrow. Just wanted to bring you up to speed on where the funds have been used so far.

PRACTICE and FUNDRAISER

There will be a practice in St. George at 7:00 p.m. This is also a tryout, please invite any girl who wants to tryout to come. Then on Saturday there will be a practice at 10:00 a.m. in Cedar at the Canyon View High School feilds This is a tryout as well if any girl wants to come please bring them. After the practice on Saturday we will be doing a car wash fundraiser at the Cedar City Wal-Mart.

The Fire Cracker Tournament is the 18th and 19th of July, and will not have games on the 20th as posted earlier. I need to know so we can register.

New Uniforms

If you are all comfortable with the uniform that I posted, (I have had no feedback yet) I can order those and they will be ready in about a week. If not, then I need you to get me suggestions fast. I see three options...give me more if you have them.

If we order from intensity or High Five we can have the uniform in about 4 days and have it screened and to us in 7 to 10 days...total cost would be about $50.00, everyone would need a new one. We still have the red practice jersey we can use in the meantime. We would probably want to purchase a few extra uniforms in this scenario to cover pick up players.

The other choice is to order from Adidas and replace last year's uniform, there are no adult smalls available and this would take about 3 weeks. The advantage here is we can borrow uniforms for pick up players more easily from the rest of the Pegasus organization. We could cover the smalls by trading for some that other players had outgrown. In this scenario we will need to decide red or blue or to get both...cost on this would be about the same. per uniform, maybe slightly higher, per uniform...(if we did two it would be twice as much)

Keep the practice jersey and not worry about it.

REGISTRATION FOR THE TEAM IS COMPLETE

We have an official Roster, and are official to play ASA tournaments. We will be receiving ID cards in the immediate future...and we will be giving each girl an ID that she must have with her to play in the tournament...

We will need you to be very responsible with them...they are 15.00 to replace if they are lost.

But, I am happy to report that WE ARE LEGAL!!!

Kimber has been drafted to Pegasus, her jersey number will be 8, she was with us in Kanab and did a great job! Please be sure to make her feel welcome...she will be joining us in Ephriam, we are trying to get her registered too...wish us luck!

Warm ups at 12:15 at the softball fields at Canyon View High School

First game will be at 1:45 PM on Bicentenial Field #1 and then again at the same field at 5:30
